Jeremy — managing a severe asthma attack in a child
Introduction
Jeremy, who is now 8 years old, was diagnosed with eczema and asthma at the age of 18 months and was then admitted to hospital on several occasions. He was given a nebuliser to use at home if required, and was followed up on an out-patient basis. He has not been seen regularly by his GP for his asthma.
